These throwing knives are intended for use against suitable targets. Smaller throwing knives under 10 inches and with low weight can be thrown with advantage against standard dartboards. For larger and heavier competition knives, a wooden target is recommended. Several layers of cardboard can also be used as a target. Keep in mind that steel can bounce off steel and other hard surfaces.
