The upper part of the replica is made of a zinc and aluminum alloy, while the pistol grip is made of durable plastic. Powered by a 7.2 V battery instead of green gas, it operates on a base similar to AEG carbines. The firing mechanism uses an electric motor, vertically placed in the pistol grip, with the battery conveniently located under the cylinder.
