Colt .45 Peacemaker Replica 7.5 inch

Authentic Replica of the Legendary Revolver

Relive the Wild West era with this detailed replica of the Colt .45 Peacemaker revolver. This 7.5-inch replica from DENIX captures the essence of the classic Single Action Army (SAA) revolver, designed by Samuel Colt in 1873. Perfect for collectors, history enthusiasts, or as a unique decoration.

Realistic Design and Features

• Metal Construction: The revolver is made of metal for an authentic feel and durability.
• Plastic Grips: The grips are made of plastic and designed to mimic the look of the original.
• Simulated Mechanism: The replica features a simulated mechanism for charging and firing, as well as a rotating drum, providing a realistic experience.

The Peacemaker revolver, also known as the Single Action Army (SAA), was manufactured with different barrel lengths, including the short 4.75-inch versions, the longer 5.5- and 7.5-inch versions, and the imposing 12-inch ”Buntline Special.” Initially, this weapon was used by the US Army, but it quickly became popular among American citizens, facilitated by the fact that it used ammunition of the same caliber as the Winchester M1873 rifle. Its popularity as a short weapon in the old North American West in the late 19th century grew rapidly.

An Iconic Weapon with Many Names

This revolver has received numerous nicknames, including Peacemaker, Frontier, and Widowmaker, referring to how easily the revolver could leave widows behind. The films of the 40s and 50s contributed to mythifying the Peacemaker revolver, and it was associated with big stars like John Wayne and Gary Cooper. Even Roosevelt owned one with his initials engraved, and George S. Patton used two.
