These throwing spikes are intended for use against suitable targets only. Smaller throwing knives under 10" that are lightweight can be thrown at regular dartboards. For larger/heavier competition knives, we recommend a proper wooden target. Multiple layers of cardboard can also make a good target. Keep in mind that steel bounces against steel and other hard surfaces.
